At WRGS, we are constantly coming up with new weddings to showcase and ideas to keep our content fresh for our brides-to-be. We’re proud to announce a new series that is informative and fun for everyone,
THE GRAND STRAND DIAMOND DIARIES
We will be sharing some of our favorite wedding rings in Myrtle Beach and letting their owners share their special memories about them. We thought it would be a great way to show you different kinds of wedding rings for every personality as well as a little behind the scenes of their own wedding. Our first bride to share was an obvious choice. As the owner of Ash Hoffman Jewelry, we knew this would be a post right up her alley.
Name: Ashley Hoffman Hidalgo
Husband: Enoel Hidalgo
Occupation: bling boss at ash hoffman jewelry (haha)
Wedding Date: May 5, 2015
Let’s Talk about this Gorgeous Ring: It was really important to me that I make my ring and our wedding bands. He totally surprised me with his proposal one Sunday afternoon while were were just sitting in the backyard and talking. I didn’t have a diamond yet, so we chose that together and designed the engagement ring together. Each of my three bands have a certain amount of stones on them to make up our wedding date. 5.8.15 so when stacked all together they symbolize the day we got married. His ring has an engraving from our song and I made a gold bangle that I rarely take off with part of one of the readings that we shared at our wedding.
Now that you’re married, what’s your Favorite Date Night Activity: riding our bikes to dinner or going for a run down to the beach. We also love to take spontaneous unplanned road trips so we consider those date weekends! 🙂 Our honeymoon was actually a cross country road trip. We drove 10,000 miles and visited 10 national parks. Lots of camping, hiking, biking and seeing the beautiful scenery this country has to offer! We are planning our anniversary road trip right now to two places we went on our honeymoon but didn’t get to spend enough time in.
WRGS loves Ashley’s bohemian babe status and are happy to share her as our first Grand Strand Diamond Diaries! See a few more photos of her unique wedding below…
